Hi I'm Dahlia Ney and I'm excited to be a school social worker for Del Valle Elementary. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and psychology from Sam Houston State University in 2019. Afterwards, I got my Master of Social Work from the University of Houston.

I have 4 years of social work experience and love working with children. I come from a residential treatment center background, so I look forward to using that skill set here at Del Valle. I have training in play therapy, substance use, trauma, and neurobiology of the brain. When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my animals and partner, creating art, and doing yoga. I look forward to meeting you!
